If you spend an extra 20% on materials, the whole project cost doesn’t even increase by 5%. What designs are included?

Sure, you see hip rooves all the time in the burbs. Hips roofs are the type shaped more like a pyramid and also include valleys. They are an older concept, but avoid the building looking like a factory. Modern weatherboards are included in masonry for reduced upkeep. The entire lower section is encapsulated in veneer brick giving it a high thermal and sound insulation. This means you spend less and enjoy more.

Add to this cantilevered overhangs, individual balconettes and carpeted bedrooms and you have a cozy feeling residence. This attracts more interest and better opportunities.

Is there a Body Corp?

Strata titling, effective owning that piece of the strata or sky/land on earth makes them separate. Without strata they would have to be sold as a complete unit. There is a set of requirements including surveying, finishing requirements and paperwork to be handled before strata titling can be registered. Once that is done each owner can sell their unit individually at their leisure.
Body corp is only required if there is ‘common areas’ which require upkeep or administration. When four terraces sit in line and all have street access, there is usually no requirement for Body Corp. No area is shared and therefore each unit owner looks only after their share. Setting up a body corp is not a difficult step as the units holders tend to hold meetings to make decisions on administration. A professional body corp company is usually paid to look after it as it has significant legal consequences for mishandling.
